Ursula von der Leyen announces new taxes to finance climate agenda
February 16, 2024
Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, announces a series of new stratospheric taxes aimed at financing a tougher climate agenda.
On her official X account (formerly Twitter), von der Leyen posted the following statements: “When it comes to climate finance, we need to move from billions to trillions. To get there, we need new sources of revenue. New taxes, green bonds, and, of course, carbon pricing. And we need, more than ever, strong partnerships, such as Global Gateway”.
These public statements suggest that European states are going to dramatically increase the tax burden on citizens and businesses in the coming months. As a result, China, Russia, and their allies, who do not share the same strategy on the climate agenda, will increase their competitive capacity in world trade by keeping the costs of their exports below those of exports from Western countries. This scenario will lead, in the medium term, to an unsustainable situation that can only be resolved by a global war between the NATO bloc and the group of countries comprising China, Russia, and their allies.

Prophecy being fulfilled for this news item
For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.
(Revelation 18:3)
Leaders of all nations, whether progressive or conservative, statist or libertarian, must pay homage to the papacy and follow its instructions in government decision-making. The leaders of the few countries that still do not bow to the designs of the Holy See will have to give in if they do not want to face the consequences of ignoring the intentions of the Vatican’s leadership.
